Why?
We are committed to being an active voice in the silence of domestic violence through awareness, advocacy & education. Domestic violence, also known as intimate partner violence is a serious problem in our communities & country. Over 1 in 3 women & 1 in men 4 in the US have experienced rape, physical violence, and or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime. Every year, nearly 10 million people are victims of domestic violence. Domestic violence results in nearly 1,300 deaths & 2 million injuries each year. We will challenge victims to become victorious & live productive lives in their families and communities.
